Updated ski-in/ski-out studio at Iron Horse Resort, unit D5034 is a well-appointed upgraded condo with a modern feel. The kitchen has newer cabinets, granite counter-tops, tiled floors and appliances. This open living space includes living, dining and the sleeping areas as well as access to the private patio.
The Murphy bed is a comfortable Queen that can be stored away to enjoy more living space during the day and the sofa sleeper provide an additional spot for kids in the living room.
Other great amenities include the free wi-fi accessgas fireplace, flat screen TV, coffee maker, well-stocked kitchen from silverware, plates, pots/pans and many more beyond the basics - give the waffle iron a try!
Walk 50 steps down the hall and out the door to the skier's Corridor Trail which can help you get down to the Gondola at Winter Park Resort. There is a shuttle bus via The Lift (Green Line) that picks up in front of our building (Building D) and takes you to Winter Park base as well. At the end of your ski day, you can ski back into the condo from the Mary Jane side of the mountain, using the Mary Jain trail to the Corridor trail. The Lift (Black line) runs in the evening and picks up in front of our building (Building D) and takes you down to the Town of Winter Park with lots of options for dinner and drinks. The Lift has an IOS mobile app with bus GPS tracking and scheduled pick up times.
This location is at the base of the Winter Park resort and provides a ski-in/ski-out experience for guests. During the summer season, there will be a free shuttle for transportation and is an easy walk to the Base Village area for shopping and dining.
Please note: The Iron Horse property is located on the skier's corridor from Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park. All skiers will need to be an intermediate level or higher to access the ski-in/ski-out feature of the property. There is also 150 yards of a walk from the Iron Horse building to the ski trail.
Common area amenities at the property for all guests include covered parking, outdoor pool and hot tubs, work out facility, game room, business center.
**PLEASE NOTE** Currently the pool remains closed and there is only 1 outdoor hot tub operational on the property. Currently we do not have a completion date, but will update our information as soon as the Property Management Company can provide us more information.
COVID Housekeeping: All of our cleaning standards and products are aligned with VRMA, WHO and CDC.
We are laundering all bedding in our commercial washers and dryers after each guest stay. All bedding is double sheeted.
All products in the vacation rental for guest use will be individually wrapped for protection.
There will be a 24 hour (1 day) gap between reservations.
We will implement keyless entry or secured lock box for entry to all vacation rentals.
Our staff will have new PPE daily and wear masks, protective gloves and shoe coverings.

NO SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED. These rules are strictly enforced by the property HOA. Guests will be fined $200 per day if they smoke or bring a pet on the property.
