Meet the StayWinterPark Team

Robert Blay - President

Robert has more than 30 years of executive experience managing public and private companies primarily in the entertainment, software and property management industries.  Robert has directed as many as 150 employees.  He has led companies through start-up, turnaround and growth modes.  Robert received his degree in Business from Northwood University.  In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as; skiing, hiking, and golfing, travel and wine.

Shannon’s introduction to vacation rentals began as a child visiting a beach house near Mystic, CT. Sea level to ski level life changes found her in Winter Park by 1995. Cleaning condos by day and checking guests in at night evolved into broadening her knowledge of property management company operations – from reservations, group sales, owner relations, accounting, to homeowner association administration, including timeshare resorts.  The fond memories of short-term renting and the love for Grand County carry through to her present days as the VP of Rental Operations for Stay Winter Park.

Shannon’s management theory for vacation rental is in part about wellness. Stay Winter Park provides the owner peace of mind with property care services while making great stays happen for vacation rental guests. After meeting my husband 16 years ago and coming directly from New Orleans, LA there was a bit of a coulter shock. He introduced me to Colorado and the wonders of living in Grand County. I started by working at Winter Park Ski Resort as most do and watched my world change. With my love of hiking, going to the lakes and watching the wildlife it wasn't hard to fall in love with this area. After 10 years at the resort my husband and I decided to start a family. I have now been with Stay Winter Park for 4 years. Going from helping customers customize their skiing vacation at the resort to lodging helps with rounding out your vacation to make it a great one.

Erika has 20 years of experience in all aspects of the hospitality and vacation rental business from housekeeping, front desk, reservations, group sales, software conversions, phone technologies and overseeing and implementing our sales and marketing.  This depth of knowledge helps provide the rental management team with guidance, mentoring, customer service and problem solving.  One of the best compliments to receive is “Thank you for a wonderful vacation and we truly loved the area and our experience while on vacation” – this is what our goal for all StayWinterPark guests and owners to share with us.
