Located in the desirable Grand Park neighborhood, it is perfect for a large family or two families vacationing together. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, including a welcome basket upon arrival.
After a day filled with outdoor activities, return to unwind on the expansive and cozy leather sectional sofa within the luxurious great room featuring vaulted ceilings, large windows, a gas fireplace and a 65" flat screen TV with a sound bar. Enjoy some leisure time by setting up a puzzle or board game on the lift-top coffee table, choosing from the wide array of games, toys and books available in this home. This inviting space connects to a fully equipped gourmet kitchen boasting granite countertops, new appliances, a spacious pantry and ample dining space at the main table with additional seating options at the sizable kitchen island or the adjustable game table. While pots and pans are provided, guests will need to bring their own cooking ingredients.
The lower level of the house also has a guest bathroom and a laundry/mud room connected to the two-car heated garage. In the laundry room, you will find detergent, drying rack, laundry baskets, iron and ironing board. Each bedroom and the kitchen are equipped with outlets that have charging ports, and there are new HDTVs in every room with cable and upgraded Wi-Fi. The bathrooms are stocked with all-natural products such as lotion, shampoo, conditioner and soap, along with a hair dryer and upgraded towels and bathmats. Additionally, the house boasts in floor radiant heating and is elegantly decorated with a modern mountain theme.
The primary bedroom on the main floor provides a convenient option for guests who prefer to avoid stairs, featuring a King bed and attached ensuite bathroom with double vanity and walk-in tiled shower. Inside the walk-in closet, you will discover all the essentials, from extra pillows and blankets to baby equipment such as high-chair and pack n play, as well as a dog crate with playpen.
Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms - one with a Queen bed and ensuite bathroom, and the other with two sets of bunks (Double down, Twin up). The latter bedroom has access to a third full bathroom, which can also be entered from the loft. The loft boasts a Queen sleeper sofa, a large TV and an Xbox. Additionally, a desk is available in the loft, offering guests a separate workspace with views of the Continental Divide.
The outdoor area adjacent to the spacious living room is ready for you to relax in the 8-person hot tub, prepare meals for your loved ones on the expansive Weber grill, roast s’mores, bask in the fireplace's warmth or engage in a friendly game of corn hole in the backyard. All of these activities can be enjoyed while taking in the panoramic views of the meadow, surrounding mountains, stunning sunsets and starlit nights.
Unit features include complimentary WI-FI, laundry facilities, pet friendly accommodations, Smart TVs with Xbox games, a private outdoor hot tub, hair dryers, iron and ironing board, highchair and pack-n-play crib, a remote workspace and a gas fireplace. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning available.
Guests have access to a heated two car garage for storing gear and keeping boots warm during the winter, with extra space for equipment in the warmer months. Sporting equipment is also provided for vacationers, and parking is available for up to four vehicles - two in the garage and two in the driveway.
The Grand Park area offers easy access to hiking and cross-country skiing paths, a pool and fitness facility at the Grand Park Recreation Center, transportation to the Winter Park Ski Resort and town, tubing and snowmobiling at the Colorado Adventure Park as well as shopping at Safeway supermarket and dining at various restaurants and pubs in Fraser and Winter Park. Alder Brook Trail is a charming fun cul-de-sac lined with single-family residences where both residents and tourists can be found mingling.
Guests are not allowed to smoke on the property due to homeowner rules. These regulations are rigorously upheld, and any guests found smoking on or in the property will be subject to a 200 fine per day.
