The kitchen area has been updated with new cabinets with tiled counter-tops, tile floors, new appliances, 2 seats at the counter and an open view of the main living room. No air conditioning.
Taking in the incredible views of the skier's corridor out the large picture windows with the gas fireplace in sight, this unit is not about watching the flat screen TV. The living and dining areas have new carpet as of February 2019, comfortable sofa can also be used for additional sleeping spot for children in your party. Easy escape out onto the private deck you will enjoy the forested view and some quiet time.
A Queen Murphy bed in the living area can be stored away to enjoy more living space during the day and opened up in the evenings for a good night’s sleep.
In the master bedroom a Queen bed and forest view. The main bathroom is in the common hallway of the unit.
Located on the 4th floor of the building which is one floor below the skier access in the D building. Guest can access the unit from the elevator in the lobby of the building.
Please note: The Iron Horse property is located on the skier's corridor from Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park. All skiers will need to be an intermediate level or higher to access the ski-in/ski-out feature of the property. There is also 150 yards of a walk from the Iron Horse building to the ski trail.
All guests will need to display the parking pass from the unit in their car to prevent towing – this rule is strictly enforced at the property.
Amenities at property included: hot tubs, pool, work out facility, game room, business center.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The entire Iron Horse property is a non smoking property - no smoking allowed on the property grounds - fines will be enforced for violation of this rule.
NO SMOKING AND NO PETS ALLOWED. Homeowner Association rules do not permit guests to bring a pet or smoke on the property. These rules are strictly enforced. Guests will be fined $200 per day if they bring a pet or smoke on the property.

We’ve stayed in one of the units in this building previously. While dated, they are clean and cozy. And the convenience of ski in/out can’t be beat. We will definitely stay here again in the future. Only snag for us is the late check-in time of 4:00pm but we were able to sit in the lobby area until check in time.
Fantastic experience! Wonderful facility, location, almost everything. Just be sure to ask the staff to explain parking procedures as there was no explanation at check in and what was in writing was incorrect.
Good location with ski in/out access from the 5th story and an indoor/outdoor pool and a game room that my kids loved. Building is older, but pretty well maintained. The condo was a little tight (it was hard to get past the table to get to the fourth chair or the deck), but it was in good shape all things considered and lovingly decorated.
Great condo, fantastic location. This is a great condo, in good condition, close to bridge to ski-out. It was sufficiently stocked with kitchen items, towels, etc. The ski shop is just an elevator ride down, which was very convenient. I would give this rental 5 stars if the experience with the management company were better. They came through in the end but I felt like I had to babysit the process the whole way.
Close to lifts, great parking! The property was clean, with some minor scuffs in the kitchen area and bathroom. the property had ample space for sleeping. the dishwasher was full when we arrived; it would have been nice if it were emptied/put away. besides that, i would recommend the property to anyone looking for a stay at winter park
