Miles Behind Log Cabin

Every year we celebrate the Nee Year in the mountains. This was a great gathering spot for all 10 of us. We ran into a couple small issues and the response time was very fast and everything was resolved easily.

Booked this cabin for my large family and pack of dogs. It was gorgeous. Beautiful rooms and the scenery was amazing. The hotub was exactly what I could've asked for. The loft/game room was the hot ticket item for our 5 children. The amenities included were fantastic. Great attention to detail. The home was pretty much fully stocked with everything we could've needed. The only negative thing i could possibly say was the directions to find the cabin were a bit of a nightmare. Took us almost an hour to find it. Other than that, we have decided to make this a twice a year vacation place for our family A++++

We loved this property! So quiet and serene. We were there during a period of heavy snow, and the management company kept the driveway, walkways, and porch areas shoveled. Check in/out process and instructions were clear and everything in the cabin was in working order. Loved the personal touch of reading about the cabin origins and seeing pictures of it being built. We will be back to this property in the summer to see it while it's not covered in snow!

You can feel the love of the family in the construction of the home. The heated floors were lovely and kept the house warm and cozy. We loved the views out the windows and taking time to snowshoe around the property! Unfortunately we didn’t have any wildlife spottings, but we know they’re out there!

This log home was cozy and welcoming on the inside, and the outside was just as amazing! Our family had room to spread out and different areas, yet we were all still connected thanks to the open layout. We made memories here that will last a lifetime!

Miles Behind Log Cabin was the perfect place to spend a family vacation. The location nestled in the trees was so calming and the mountains no matter which way you looked were amazing. Watching the sun rise and set was so beautiful. We were close to all the fun things and shopping we did. There was nothing we needed that wasn't in the cabin. We cooked all our meals, and the kitchen was fully stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was very nice. Pool table and foosball were a hit with all. Wonderful deck with fire pit, swing, outside table, bar-b-que and hot tub. Lots of area to spend relaxing.

The cabin was top notch…incredibly clean, an amazing piece of property, well-stocked with all the needed kitchen utensils, etc. And the view can’t be overstated; absolutely gorgeous. The location is quite close to the amenities in Fraser and Winter Park, so it’s a great combo of convenience and serenity. We would consider staying at this property again.

We spent a weekend with friends before the holidays and had a good time. The property is gorgeous-- private and secluded. Sitting outside in the hot tub and taking in the incredible views was a definite highlight-- and it was soooo quiet. We had issues with the heating in the cabin, but the property management company was really responsive and sent out people to assist with the issues and brought us firewood and space heaters to help mitigate the cold. Overall, a great weekend with friends!

From scenic hikes to cozy Sunday afternoon lounging + hot tubs in the snow, we didn't want to leave. We also heard elk bugling at night and saw rainbows over the mountains. Highly recommend this place for a family or friends getaway. Thank you for everything! We had a wonderful time and would love to come back this winter.

This was our third visit to Miles Behind in the past two years, so we obviously love it. Excellent location close enough to the ski resorts, but you feel like you're in your own world with unparalleled mountain views. Comfortable family home. Great hot tub. When we reported an apparent leak in the septic tank, it was immediately taken care of. We also appreciated the plowing of the driveway and snow shoveled off the porches.

What a great place to stay! We rented this cabin with 3 generations of family - grandkids to grandparents and could not have been happier with our selection. The cabin is not far outside of town, but we felt like we had stepped into our own mountain world. We loved pulling the kids in the sled around the circle, taking advantage of the open kitchen to cook while others watched TV. Our teen enjoyed the pool table, electric keyboard and getting moments to herself in the loft while the younger kids played games at the dining room table. The sky is full of starts at night, views from the hot tub are a must. Such a unique setting and this complimented our family time quite well. We will back the next chance we get!

Perfect! I would hardly call this a cabin. It's a beautiful and spacious mountain home! Roasted marshmallows on the amazing deck, under the stars, is memory making. While it feels so private and remote, it is close enough to mountain communities to allow visitors to take advantage of side trips. Everything is thereto make this the perfect get away.

Paradise in the mountains! Such an amazing time! This cabin is supreme! The hosts were so very accommodating. The game room and space is fit for 10! Lots of appliances, kitchenware and games for kids. The view from the deck will amaze you and the hot tub is a treat. Enjoy this very well maintained family cabin. It will not disappoint!

This cabin is stunning! I loved the tasteful southwest design and new kitchen appliances. The scenery was pristine especially on my snow shoe trip around the property! I particularly enjoyed the hot tub after a day on the slopes and watching the mountains glow at sunset. I can\'t wait to come back again soon!

This luxury cabin has everything you\'d ever want to enjoy your stay (including a hot tub!) while maintaining the rustic feeling of being in the mountains. Situated in the middle of 40 acres, you have complete and total privacy--we enjoyed long meandering walks without ever reaching the property line. The views are unobstructed and beautiful. The large open-concept living/ dining /kitchen area is great for socializing or watching a movie, and enjoying the cozy wood burning fireplace in the evenings. The bedrooms are charming, including the master suite. Do yourself a favor and book this cabin immediately!! You won\'t regret it. :-)
