The unique valley that is home to the Winter Park Resort is located in the Arapahoe National Forest and surrounded by three vast wilderness areas:  Indian Peaks, Byers Peak and Vasquez.  The short 1 1/2 hour drive on Interstate 70 (67 miles or 108 kilometers) from the Denver metro area means Winter Park is the closest large ski resort to this metropolis.

The Denver International Airport (85 miles or 137 kilometers) will be your port of entry providing easy access via Interstate 70 West to exit 232 onto U.S. Hwy 40.

The Mountain
Winter Park Resort’s unique advantage of six interconnecting mountains areas, with 14 historic trails and 25 lifts provides guests a large choice of skiable terrain.  Each separate mountain (Winter Park, Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl, Vasquez Ridge, The Cirque and Eagle Wind) is accessible with the purchase of one lift ticket and proven to be one of Colorado’s favorite resorts for over 76 years.
