The weekend of August 19th, the Winter Park Uncorked Wine Festival will take place from noon to 5pm at Hideaway Park in downtown Winter Park. This festival offers a large selection of wine from large and small vineyards, samples of food and live music! Starting at 12, the Pelta-Tiller Trio will play, followed by the Andy Hackbarth Band from 3pm - 5pm. Tickets are available for the VIP, GA and an entrance ticket.
At the Winter Park Ski Resort on August 19th and 20th, you can temp your taste buds with chili sampling. Free admission and tasting tickets are $1 from 12pm to 5pm each day.
If relaxing with wine in the mountains isn't what you are looking for, August 26th has the Winter Park Music Festival at Hideaway Park. This is a free event and features 3 great bands with a throw back to the 80s - 12:30-2pm the Rick Lewis Project, 2:30-3:45pm Dee Snider and the headliner Bret Michaels from 4:30 - 6pm.
Need more 80s? Come to the Winter Park Pub for a rare appearance by Huge in Germany at 6pm.
