Your Guide to the 2018 Wells Fargo Ski Cup

Friday, 2/23

Now in its 43rd consecutive year, the Wells Fargo Ski Cup brings together the world's top skiers with disabilities, amateur skiers, snowboarders, and Denver celebrities. The weekend kicks off on Friday as racers arrive at Winter Park Resort. They'll take their qualifying runs, participate in a racer clinic, and learn racing techniques from NSCD staff and coaches. Guests are welcome to watch the action from the slopes.

Saturday 2/24

Head back to the resort on Saturday for the Corporate Challenge, the highlight of Ski Cup Weekend. Cheer on your favorite skiers as they rocket down the slopes on monoskis. Teams are randomly grouped into heats and the top three move on to the finals. The NSCD athlete on each of the top teams wins a cash prize to finance their training for the 2018 Paralympics. Local Tip: Be sure to stick around for the apres-ski bash, awards ceremony, and night tubing!

Sunday, 2/25

Don't miss the Kid's Snowplow Sprint on Sunday! It's a wonderful event that allows children of Wells Fargo Ski Cup guests to race the same course as the professionals. They'll even be joined by mascots from Winter Park and Colorado sports teams. Capping off the weekend is the Sarah Holm Memorial World Disabled Invitational where professional athletes from around the world compete for cash prizes. Visit the NSCD website for a full schedule of events.
