On the Trail Rentals
If you're an experienced rider and prefer to head out on your own, consider renting a snowmobile from On the Trail Rentals. A rental includes a new snowmobile model, snowsuit, helmet, boots, trail map and one tank of fuel. Book your snowmobile rental for anywhere between two hours and multiple days. On the Trail Rentals is located just three miles northwest of Grand Lake, offering easy access to the top snowmobile trails in Arapahoe National Forest. On the Trail Rentals also offers guided snowmobile tours from November 26 to April 1, weather permitting.
Spirit Lake Lodge & Snowmobile Rentals
Another snowmobile rental option near Winter Park is Spirit Lake Lodge & Snowmobile Rentals. Located in downtown Grand Lake, Spirit Lake Lodge offers two-, four- or eight-hour snowmobile rentals. Each rental includes a Ski-Doo snowmobile, snowsuit, helmet, boots, trail map and one tank of fuel. Rentals can leave directly from Spirit Lake Lodge, and riders can explore the groomed trails in the Arapaho National Forest. Reserve your rental via the online request form. Two-hour guided tours are also available, excluding the holiday season.
Colorado Adventure Park
Are you traveling with little ones? Be sure to check out Colorado Adventure Park. Here, kids seeking speed can head out on Snow Scoots (Polaris 120 snowmobiles) that accommodate riders shorter than 5 feet and under 90 pounds. The Snow Scoots are ridden along a groomed track and are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
